I attended Van Buren Schools throughout my entire childhood. I am a Van Buren High School graduate of the Class of 1995.
I began University of Arkansas Fort Smith in 2003, to pursue my degree in Early Childhood Education. I graduated as a Highly Qualified teacher with Honors in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.
After graduating college, I had the opportunity to teach as a Long Term Substitute Teacher in 4th grade and, again, in 3rd grade, here at Cedarville Elementary.
I began working at Cedarville Elementary in 2012, as a full time Kindergarten teacher. I am now in my second year of teaching First Grade!
I was born and raised in Van Buren, AR. After graduating high school, I married my wonderful husband, Chris, and we began our family. I was very fortunate to be a stay at home mom to our three children. All three of our children are lifetime students of Cedarville Public Schools. Christopher, our oldest son, graduated Cedarville in 2012 with 4 Welding Certificates through UAFS, and is now working as a welder. Kendra, our daughter graduated Cedarville in 2014 with 32 college credit hours through UAFS, and is pursuing her degree in the Medical Field. Levi, our youngest son, is in 8th grade. He is in Student Council and is proud to be a Cedarvile Pirate basketball player.
Our oldest son and his wife have blessed us with two gorgeous grand-daughters and a soon to be grand-son in November 2015!
I enjoy spending time with my family, attending church, camping, and you will often find me at our schools sporting events cheering on our PIRATES!
